Play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment as a Cleaner/Laborer at ECS!  Days and hours can be flexible for the right person.  Duties for this position incude:

• Sweeps, mops and polishes floors by hand or floor machine; Vacuum and shampoo carpets; Washes windows, surfaces and/or fixtures, dusts woodwork, furniture and other articles;
• Cleans lavatories and replenishes supplies;
• Performs general clean-up work such as removing debris, raking leaves, cutting grass and weeds, shoveling snow, clearing walkways, assisting in collection of rubbish and litter from the grounds, facilities and public lands; Picks up and recycles trash;
• Assists in preparation, laying out and maintenance of athletic fields and areas designated for beautification by clearing, grading, reseeding, lining and weeding;
• Operates power driven tools and equipment such as saws, compressors, drills, mixers, pumps, mowers and other related tools;
• Uses hand tools for use in grounds maintenance and beautifications work;
• Loads and unloads trucks and other equipment for materials and supplies;
• May assist in the maintenance of parking areas, utility and drainage systems by digging and backfilling trenches, spreading asphalt, sand and gravel;
• Does related work as needed.

Join our team as a School Bus Driver and become a vital part of ensuring safe, reliable transportation for students.  A class B license with Passenger and School Bus endorsements are required. 

Responsibilities

• Safely operate school buses, following designated routes and schedules with precision and care
• Ensure the safety of all passengers by enforcing behavior management policies and maintaining order on the bus
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, mechanical condition, and cleanliness before each route
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, school staff, and dispatchers

Skills

• Class B License with a Passenger and School Bus Endorsement
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of driving safety regulations, traffic laws, and vehicle mechanical basics
• Experience working with children in transportation settings
• Ability to manage behavior effectively and ensure passenger safety at all times
• Mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle inspections and minor troubleshooting
